FW Beckett Our home group (formed in 2024) is facilitated by a mix of senior Bible-studying couples seeking new members, including singles and couples. Empty nesters would be a natural fit, but all are welcome. We follow the discussion questions on the back of Sunday’s sermon notes with open discussion, and examine how we can apply the sermon notes to our daily lives. We are a supporting group of friends who lift each other up in prayer. Coffee, tea and dinner are served before our study. The meeting wraps up by around 7:30 p.m. Our home is located down a quiet country road close to Azle (about 30 mins from the Fort Worth campus), convenient to members of Weatherford and West campus. Their home group meets in-person in the Southwest Fort Worth area on Wednesday nights. FW Ingram We are a welcoming group of singles and couples, aging together and sharing our ups and downs in life with a shrug and a chuckle, and steady constant prayer week to week. Together we have reached the vintage of 60’s and 70’s, with a kick to our steps and an appreciation for humble humor. We have new members who have found an openness of family love and acceptance, and a communal rest for the soul in our Lord. We are now meeting each Sunday 12:15-2:00 PM in-person on campus in the South Link Classroom with snacks and sermon-series discussions on applications,. We enjoy quarterly food fests at members’ homes. We support Union Gospel Mission's daily lunch program as each of us contributes 10 sack lunches on the first of every month. Our fellowship and meetings focus on examination of the Scriptures to share sermon-centered applications for the week ahead, and how prayers have been answered. FW LaQuey We meet at a home just one block away from the FW campus. We have been meeting on Sunday mornings at 9:15 but may be transitioning to a different format and schedule soon. We’ve had a mix of couples of various ages, from newly married couples to parents of adult children and all life stages in between. We often have one or two small children join us with their parents. We believe a healthy Biblical community can be achieved in part through meeting regularly to fellowship with one another, discussion from sermon series questions, and praying together. In addition, we encourage members within our Home Group to foster relationships with one another outside of the regularly scheduled meetings and fellowship gatherings. Our intent is to do life together—the good, bad, and often times ugly. FW Nance Our group is composed of working couples in their 60’s and early 70's many of us have Grand Blessings. Organized in the fall of 2019, we discuss the current sermon series as we seek to hear God speak through His Word. Occasional fellowship times are part of our gathering. This group is in the process of developing a unique personality and we would love for you to join us. Decades of diverse life experiences come together each week to bring very helpful perspectives on issues discussed from the lessons and personal sharing. FW Reusser This NE Fort Worth / Keller small group is comprised of married couples with young children. The group is led by Torrey & Kristin Reusser who have attended Christ Chapel since 2003. The group members enjoy traveling, cooking, college football, photography, and reading. FW Robson Ranch Area Our group was organized in the summer of 2023 to gather church members and other interested individuals and couples who lived in southwest Denton County. Several people had moved further north of the main church campus and were excited about having a small group closer to their new residence. During the summer, we did not have any prepared series to use for our discussions, so we met most Thursdays in various host homes to discuss the sermon questions. We averaged ten attendees. On a typical Sunday, a smaller group may gather to stream the traditional service, or we may watch it in our own homes. About once a month, some of us carpool or drive independently to the main Campus to worship God with the congregation in the Traditional service. Some may meet after the service for lunch. Our group consists mainly of retired or nearly retired couples and singles. Some have adult children and grandchildren of various ages. We occasionally arrive early at our group meeting to enjoy a meal, such as pizza, or to celebrate birthdays. Currently, our group is the furthest north of Christ Chapel. If you live north of Texas Highway 114, you may want to check us out. We have room for a few more Christ-followers. FW Wolk The purpose of this home study group is to create a consistent, welcoming environment for married parents of children of any age to gather, build relationships, study God's Word, and encourage one another in living out their faith within marriage, parenting, family, work, and everyday life. Each gathering will build upon the previous Sunday's sermon or teaching at Christ Chapel Bible Church. Rather than simply reviewing the sermon, the group will use it as a springboard to go deeper into Scripture and into one another's lives. Our hope is that each person leaves the gathering having: Seen something new or deeper in God's Word. Been challenged or encouraged personally. FW Zhang We are a CCBC Home Group made up of six Mandarin-speaking families with young children, meeting on Friday evenings near SWBTS. Clark and Amy lead us with years of pastoral experience, warm hospitality, and incredible cooking! Our group often describes itself as “very kid-friendly” and “a mid-week refueling station.” One of our joys is helping Mandarin speakers feel connected and rooted in the CCBC church community. Every week we share a potluck dinner, study the Bible, and enjoy relaxed fellowship while the kids play nearby. It’s a place where friendships grow naturally and deeply. However, we would love to share our “gray-haired wisdom” with some younger folks! All ages welcome. We discuss the sermon and the notes, how to apply them to our daily walk, and then share a casual snack. It is a great time of fellowship and growth. Most of us participate in Women in the Word and Band of Brothers bible studies to further our understanding of the word. Life gets really busy at this stage with older kids, teenagers, or even those trying their wings on in the world. This group is in prayer covering every situation of their Children’s lives. Outside of our group meeting times, we like to get together often for family, fun, and fellowship. The ladies may enjoy a night out on the town, the men may get together for a brunch or a field trip, and we will have times throughout the year, when all the families come together for a holiday fellowship.
