ALL EVENTS
This will be a six-week series that follows close on the heels of our study in Hebrews. Both books have a lot in common, especially the topic of faith. While Hebrews was written for Jewish believers, Galatians is addressed to what appears to be a congregation consisting primarily of Gentile converts to Christianity. But these believers were suffering the same temptation as the readers of the Book of Hebrews; they were turning away from the Gospel message.
This letter is about maintaining your faith amid the trials and tribulations of life. Jesus promised abundant life, but He never promised it would be easy or trouble-free. In this letter, Paul calls the Galatians to retain their faith in the Gospel message and its offer of sanctification and ultimate glorification. There is no giving up, turning back, or throwing in the towel. Perseverance and endurance are non-negotiable requirements for those who follow Christ.
