Seder is a historic meal that walks through God’s deliverance step by step. Each portion — the bitter herbs, the unleavened bread, the cups of wine — is explained and connected to Israel’s rescue from Egypt, pointing forward to how Jesus rescues us from sin. Every element carries meaning, every detail tells a part of the story.
As we move through the meal, we trace a pattern: a lamb, blood, freedom, redemption. And as followers of Jesus, we see that this pattern doesn’t stop in Exodus. The Seder sets a rhythm for reflection — a first step in looking back and recognizing that God was telling one story all along, a story that leads to Jesus and his resurrection. Seder is a unique opportunity to gather at one of our campuses and reflect on how God has been working throughout history toward one redemptive plan, fulfilled in him.
