This trip is open to anyone who attends Christ Chapel Bible Church. Families, young couples, college students, singles, empty nesters, or retirees. Minimum age is 8.
Life can seem hopeless for those living in Coque, one of the largest favelas in Recife, Brazil. Yet, in the midst of this darkenss, is an oasis called Kid’s Place. Volunteers for Christ is dedicated to teaching the children and their parents the love of Christ. Our team will be ministering alongside the staff at Kid’s Place doing evangelism, home visits, sports ministry, family outreach, and other work projects that help the community and proclaim the Gospel. We will encourage and share the love of Christ with the children and families that live near Kid’s Place. Come and join this long-time partner of CCBC as we take the light of Christ to this area in both word and deed.
